Ningaloo Reef Dreaming | What we are proud of
We are committed to making a real contribution to both our community and the natural environment, and be a leader in our region in making this happen. We:
- Very actively support and fund Noth West Cape Exmouth Aboriginal Corporation's important work to improve the well-being of both indigenous and non indigenous Australians.
- Have adopted the world's best practice in eco-tourism as the basis of our operations.
- Have and continue to donate tens of thousands of dollars to fund critically important whaleshark research.
- Have donated and continue to donate many thousands of dollars to help local Exmouth community and sporting groups grow, travel and upgrade.
- Have donated many thousands of dollars to Cape Conservation Group to enable them to continue to care so well for our local environment.
- Have paid for the contruction of a much needed Whaleshark Interpretive Centre (nicknamed Chompy after one of the local whalesharks!), so everyone visiting Exmouth can learn more about this amazing animal.
- Voluntarily donated and countinue to donate tens of thousands of dollars to ensure the ongoing viability and success of the local Exmouth Visitors Centre, our local not-for-profit tourist information centre helping visitors to our town.
